BCCI vs ICC - Will The Indian Cricket Board Get Slot Of T-20 World Cup For The IPL-13?

Due to this pandemic, all the sporting activities are shut down from the last three months but now some sporting federations and boards are deciding to resume their respective games again. A few days ago, the German Football League (Bundesliga) has begun again. On the other hand, the English Premier League will restart on June 17. Due to this virus, everyone in the world is facing a massive loss in their business. In the Sports Industry, all the federations and boards all over the world facing a big loss in their business.
ECB ready for the English Summer amid Coronavirus crisis
The novel Coronavirus has made a big impact on cricket like all other games. Except for Australia, India and England, the current situation of all other boards in the world is terrible. Due to this crisis, everyone wants to resume cricket in their respective countries as soon as possible. The English Cricket Board (ECB) is the first cricket board who has announced to start cricket again in their country. Earlier, ECB had suspended the professional game until July 1. Now, they are aiming to host West Indies for the three-match Test series. The ECB is planning to host matches in those venues, which have hotel facilities inside the stadium. The British government has given a green signal to resume the sporting activities next month. A day ago, ECB has asked 55 players to return to training to prepare for the upcoming series with West Indies.

The Indian Premier League is one of the biggest sporting leagues in the world which happens in April and May every year. This year, the league has postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the sources, ICC is intending to shift the 2020 T-20 World Cup to 2022 while the next T-20 World Cup will happen in 2021 in India. A day ago, an official of the Australian Cricket Board said, the 2021 T-20 World cup should be happening in Australia, not in India. According to the cricket pundits, the upcoming season of IPL can be held in September and October. The chances of IPL-13 are more in September & October because there is no International series in that period and 2020 T-20 World Cup is likely to shift in 2022.

IPL vs T-20 World Cup
Today, the biggest debate in the cricketing world is the scheduling of IPL-13 and T-20 World Cup. The question is - will other cricket boards agree if IPL happens in the place of the T-20 World Cup in September & October. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, all the cricketing boards are in awful condition and they want to resume cricket in their own country. If IPL happens then BCCI will earn all the money but if the T-20 World Cup happen then all boards will get some profit. According to the former Aussie captain Allan Border, T-20 World Cup should happen first because IPL is just a money grab. A few days ago, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) denied the speculations to replace IPL with the T-20 World Cup.
